Remember that time when all infographics were frozen and sealed in an image file and unable to truly communicate with the web? The text inside them was unreadable by search engines.

Now, with the embeddable infographics, you can make the text inside your infographics readable by search engines. So you can grow your traffic and get more conversions with this single technique: embed an infographic. Embedding has its advantages compared to inserting an infographic as an image:

  • You can add links to points in your infographic and they will become clickable. If you link other articles from the blog into the infographic it will improve your SEO. Find out how to insert links into your infographic.
  • Embedded infographics can be indexed by search engines like Google, Yandex, Bing, Baidu, and others.
  • In case you have a long article, the infographic with anchor links will be useful. You can create a summary infographic at the top pointing to main sections from your article and add anchor links for each one. Navigation will become much easier for readers and search engines will bump up your article in the search results. Find out how to create anchor links here.
  • Bloggers who have embedded infographics achieve a 15% increase in traffic.
  • Beyond the publication, interactive infographics extend their utility by providing analytics which inform creators about a site’s audience: time spent on the web page, the links which they click, and their location.

What does this all mean to marketers? Aside from the potentials of SEO boosting through embedded infographics, it also means a whole new way of sharing a variety of sources within one medium.

Embedded infographics become interactive. Each part of the infographic can be linked to another infographic, an article, a source, or book (in PDF form).

In order to embed an infographic into your blog you need to go through the following steps:

Step 1. Go to your infographic

Step 2.1 If it hasn't been published yet, click PUBLISH button

Step 2.2

Step 3. Get code through clicking on EMBED button

Step 3.1 Copy the code

Step 4. Go to your blog and open the post where you are going to embed the infographic

Step 5. Find the button which shows you HTML of the post
